Buffet Supper

  1. Don't you just love looking at vintage ads? In this tablescape I wonder what they were intending to do with the waffle maker or maybe it's a sandwich griddle. Looks like they had a chicken, peas and some other vegetable in the roaster. Then there is a salad and coffee. Hmmmm.

  2. Oh my ..... I need to find the original of this ad, because I could have sworn that was a HAM in the roaster with veggies and maybe biscuits?

We used our "waffle iron" with its plates flipped over for grilled cheese as much as we did for waffles, so perhaps you are right on with the sandwich idea.

  3. Ah, I'm in my office with my nice big monitor and can now see the meat does indeed appear to be a ham. LOL. That little lollipop computer is good for a lot of things, but the screen really is small!

  4. LOL - I'm glad you agree it is a ham and not a chicken. :-) Now I won't have to go digging through all the bins to satisfy my curiosity.
