Don't you look at pictures like this and marvel at how far kitchen venting has come in the last 60ish years? LOL.
ReplyDeleteBoth of my grandmothers had these in their kitchens Becky and they worked really well, better than some of the modern day exhaust systems. Sometmes "simple" is better. :-)

I never knew anyone who had one of these and didn't realize they worked well. Good to know they did. And I would suspect they are a lot better than the vents that are built into microwaves and things like that!
